About
A forestry project that turned into a hydrogen company
Callinectes Brothers is a joint venture between Rob Arnold and Bill Hitchcock. In 2022 the two fraternity buddies set out to advance forestry through biomimicry of photosynthesis — producing viable products the way maple syrup is made today.
Typical of any such project, the result was an unexpected success somewhere else: green hydrogen, and equally green hydrogen peroxide — another carbon-messy product.
A simple project that set out to change rural forestry practices may end up helping save the planet. Wouldn't that be nifty?!
Mission
Develop artificial photosynthesis for on-site, on-demand delivery of clean, green hydrogen.
Value proposition
Make green hydrogen more affordable by increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy cost.
